July 2 Set for Indian Launch of Samsung Galaxy S20+ BTS Edition

The South Korean giant, Samsung has announced July 2 as the date to launch the latest BTS edition of its flagship Galaxy smartphones. The brand made this announcement on Twitter. The brand also revealed on Twitter that customers can pre-book the handsets from July 1. 

To recapitulate, the brand had launched the special edition of the S20+ as well as Galaxy Buds+ BTS Edition earlier this month. These smartphones are a special edition of mobiles for the fans of popular K-pop bands. The mobiles would come pre-installed with BTS-inspired themes, wallpapers, ringtones, and a fan community platform. Its box would also come with exclusive BTS Photo Cards and decorative stickers. The rest of the features will be the same as that of the regular S20+ handset. 

Features and Specifications of Samsung Galaxy S20+ BTS Edition 

The smartphone would be backed by an octa-core Samsung Exynos 990 processor and is supported with 8GB or 12GB RAM with 128GB and 512GB storage respectively. They would run on Android 10-based One UI.

The phone would feature a 6.7-inch Quad HD+ Dynamic AMOLED Display with a refresh rate of up to 120 Hz. With a pixel density of 525 ppi., the display is also HDR10+ certified. 

The smartphone would have IP68 dust and water protection along with face recognition, ultrasonic in-display fingerprint scanner, and reverse charging. 

Regarding imaging, the handset has a quad-camera setup at the rear. It includes a 64MP telephoto sensor with f/20 aperture, a 12-MP ultra-wide sensor with f/2.2 aperture, a 12- MP wide-angle lens with f/1.8 aperture and finally a depth sensor. It comes with a 4500mAh battery. The front has a selfie camera of 10-MP with an aperture of F2.2. 

The phone has a new feature called Space Zoom. It facilitates zooming into high-resolution photos and crop and snap a new image out of them. Samsung also claims of bringing in improvements in its super steady mode and introduction of new features like night hyperlapse. 

Tik Tok creators would love its new feature, the Single Take that lets them create a 10-sec video using different lens. You also get different output files of cropped, Live Focus, Ultra-Wide, and more. 

Quick Share is another new feature that allows the sharing of content between two Galaxy phones in close proximity.
