The display features a 15.6-inch screen with a 60 Hz refresh rate. The color reproduction and contrast levels are decent with excellent viewing angles. However, when running on battery power the brightness levels fall to 176 nits, which makes the screen hardly visible in bright light.

Dell has used a powerful battery in this laptop, which has an average life of 10 hours. It means you don’t have to worry about constantly charging your laptop while playing games.

Coming to the gaming performance, the laptop has an Nvidia GTX 1650 GPU with 4 GB memory. The graphics card works well in conjugation with the i5 processor running all modern gaming titles with a decent frame-rate.

Games like CS GO and Fortnite run smoothly without any stuttering or lag. The laptop generated a constant frame-rate of 140 – 160 fps in CS GO at the highest settings. Even in high-intensity gun-fights, we didn’t notice any drop in the fps or throttling issues.

The screen size is 15.6 inches with full HD resolution. The display quality is one of the best in this range with excellent color reproduction and superb viewing angles. The laptop also has ample brightness and is purely visible under bright sunlight.

Considering it’s a gaming laptop, its styling is edgy with an illuminated Omen logo at the back. The backlit keyboard can be customized to your liking allowing you to select any color of your choice. 

It is equipped with an Nvidia GTX 1650 4 GB, which is pretty much standard in this range. All the modern AAA titles run smoothly with decent frame-rates. In CS GO, the frame-rate was between 120 – 150 fps at the highest settings. While in Fortnite, the laptop generated 100 FPS constantly. Though, there were minor FPS drops here and there, but that hardly made a difference to the game play. 

In GTA V at the highest settings, we recorded a highest of 65 FPS, and in NFS Rivals, the frame-rate was 50 FPS at the ultra graphics level.

The HP Pavilion Gaming 15-bc514TX is a performance laptop and high-end features. While it may not have the styling and design of the Omen series, but it is surely a power-packed performer in terms of its ability to run high-end games.

It is powered by a 9th Generation Core Intel i7 processor with a base speed of 2.60 GHz and 12 MB Cache. Along with that, it has 8 GB DDR4 RAM (expandable up to 32 GB) and a 512 GB SSD.

The display features a 15.6-inch screen with a 60 Hz refresh rate. The display quality is not-so-great considering the high standards of HP laptops. The color reproduction is good but the laptop has below-average viewing angles which deliver a less than pleasurable movie watching experience. 

The laptop features an Nvidia GTX 1650 GPU with 4 GB RAM. While running high-end games, the gaming performance was decent, but we noticed some heating issues which could be due to poor ventilation through the oddly placed exhaust vents. 

While running CS GO, we obtained 140+ FPS without any lag or other issues. Similarly, while playing Fortnite we easily obtained 100+ FPS. Both GTA V and NFS Rivals were also smooth with frame-rates between 50 – 60.

Even though the laptop features a dual-fan cooling system, but it began to heat up only after 2 – 3 hours of gaming. The CPU temperature reached more than 75°C while the GPU was at 90°C already. To prevent a thermal shutdown and to ensure the long life of the laptop, it is necessary to use a cooling pad while gaming.

Display-wise, it has a 15.6-inch screen with Full HD resolution, anti-glare technology, and a 60 Hz refresh rate. The display quality is superb and almost on par with the HP Omen. It also has good viewing angles and contrast ratio, giving you a satisfactory movie watching and gaming experience. The display features a 17.3-inch screen with Full HD resolution. It’s an IPS panel with 100% sRGB and a 60 Hz refresh rate.
