If you are looking for a budget-friendly option, one of the best 32-inch smart LED TVs available is the LG 32LM563BPTC. With HDR compatibility and IPS panel, the display quality is quite good. But the sound output is a bit low. Yet another option is the Sanyo Kaizen XT-32RHD4S

Best 32 Inch LED TVs In India

  1. Sony Bravia 80.1 cm (32 inches) Full HD LED Smart TV KLV-32W672G

    Find latest price ( Amazon)
    PROS:
    • Best Picture and Audio Quality
    • Neat cable management
    • Single Remote For TV and STB

    CONS:
    • No Bluetooth connectivity
    • Basic Smart Features

    Display:

Sony Bravia KLV-32W672G is one of the very few Full HD options that you get in a 32-inch size. Of course, it is pretty expensive that you can get a 43 inch 4K TV from one of the budget friendlier brands at this price. But then you will never get the amazing viewing experience of Sony Bravia KLV-32W672G with a budget-friendly brand.

The TV has Full HD output of 1920 x 1080 pixels and refresh rate of 50 Hz. It is also one of the few 32 inch TVs that support HDR content. To enhance the picture quality, Sony has incorporated its proprietary technology called X-Reality PRO which is an upscaling technology that enhances the quality of each pixel by matching with their database. This tech helps refine the image quality by enhancing the details and reducing any noise.

Further, the HDR improves the contrast and colour range to display more vivid pictures that are closer to real-life.

    Audio:

To match with the display, Sony has taken care to incorporate a good audio system. The audio output is 30 watts from a built-in woofer that provides sufficient bass. To complement the hardware, Sony has used the Clear Audio+ technology which helps create better differentiation between the dialogues and background sounds. So, no matter whether you watch an action-packed movie or a song, you can hear every sound with clarity.

    Smart Features:

Now, coming to the smart features, the system works on Linux based OS. So obviously, you don’t have access to PlayStore. But ample apps like NetFlix, YouTube, Prime, Hotstar, Zee5, SonyLiv etc are pre-installed. Screen mirroring too works well without any lag.

Though the remote is not a smart one like the Magic Remote from LG, it is capable of controlling both Set-Top Box and TV simultaneously. So, you don’t have to use two remotes while watching TV.

Talking about connectivity, the TV has 2 HDMI and USB Port. It supports hard disk, USB drive and with the plug and play option, you can access content from your mobile phone too.

Now, talking about the drawbacks, it is quite an expensive option. There is no Bluetooth connectivity. The smart features are basic too. But if your priority is excellent display and audio, then, this option from Sony will not fail you.

  2. Samsung 80 cm (32 Inches) HD Ready LED TV UA32T4010ARXXL

    Find latest price ( Amazon)

    PROS:
    • Excellent display quality
    • Good audio quality

    CONS:
    • Does not support Bluetooth

    Display:

Samsung UA32N4010AR comes with HD ready resolution of 1366 x 768 pixels and refresh rate of 60 Hz, which is the bare minimum basic standard of LED TVs found in the market today. In order to enhance the display quality, the TV is equipped with Wide Color Enhancer Technology which displays a wider range of colours. Though it is better than the conventional LED display, it is not as advanced as HDR technology. Similarly, Clear View technology enhances contrast and reduces noise and distortion.
Most users are fairly happy with the display quality.

    Audio:

Talking about the audio, the TV has 20 W sound output, which is fairly decent. However, for a more immersive sound experience, you may have to connect to a soundbar.

    Smart Features:

This is not a smart TV. So, there are no in-built apps. You will have to connect to a FireStick or Chromecast to mirror laptop or mobile.
The Plug N Play system however supports playing of various formats of videos and photos directly on the TV. For that as well as for connecting to other external devices, the TV has 2 HDMI ports and 1 USB port too.

  3. LG 80 cms (32 Inches) HD Ready LED Smart TV 32LM563BPTC

    Find latest price ( Amazon)

    PROS:

    • Excellent display quality with HDR technology.
    • IPS technology that facilitates a wide viewing angle
    • Top-notch smart features that are seamless and lag-free

    CONS:

    • Sound output of just 10 W is lower compared to other TVs in the segment.

    Display:

This offering from LG is one of the best budget-friendly smart TVs that you can opt for in the 32-inch screen size segment. It costs more than Mi 4C Pro 32 inch Smart TV, but the features are also superior comparatively.

Display-wise, it offers the standard HD Ready resolution of 1366 x 768 Hz with a refresh rate of 50 Hz.

But what sets it apart is that it supports HDR content, unlike most other 32-inch LED TVs.
This means, a wider colour range is displayed and the contrast is also better. So, the whites appear brighter and blacks are deeper. In addition, the Dynamic colour enhancer also processes the images for richer, natural colours. The TV is also capable of upscaling low-resolution images for a better vivid display. Combining these technologies, you get a better real lifelike colour and finer details in the images are not missed.

Also, as IPS panel is used by LG, a wider viewing angle of up to 178 degrees is possible. This means, even if you are viewing the TV sitting on the side of the room, colour saturation, brightness and other details are not lost.

    Audio:

Talking about the audio, the sound output is just 10 W, which is low compared to other TVs in this segment. But LG makes up for the low output by incorporating a few technologies that enhance the sound quality.

The volume of 10 W output is sufficient for a medium-sized living room. To enhance the sound quality, the TV utilizes DTS Virtual X and Dolby Audio system. But it is definitely not as great as others in the segment.

The DTS Virtual X makes it feel like more speakers are used than what actually is, thereby providing a multi-dimensional surround sound system. The Dolby Audio also provides immersive theatre-like sound experience by enhancing the clarity, crispness and bass.

    Smart Features:

The smart features of the TV are pretty good. The Web OS interphase and  Quad-core processor ensures lag-free experience. The smart features facilitate screen sharing, access to the cloud for photos and videos, multi-tasking by being able to browse the internet and watch TV simultaneously by splitting the screen.

The TV has an in-built 1 GB memory which can be expanded further.

Note however that the TV comes with a standard remote instead of LG’s proprietary magic remote. You can’t really complain considering that you pay just about Rs. 17k for this TV, while smart remote alone costs close to Rs. 7K. The standard remote that comes along has direct buttons to access Prime, Netflix and YouTube. It is fairly easy and intuitive to operate too.

In addition to smart features, if you want to connect to external hardware or other devices, you can do it through 2 HDMI and 2 USB ports.

    Find latest price ( Amazon)

    PROS:

    • Excellent display quality
    • Highly durable with good build quality

    CONS:

    • No Bluetooth connectivity for speakers

The TV is equipped with Clear Resolution Enhancer technology that reduces noise and enhances texture and contrast for improving depth, detail and thus imparting real-like images. Additionally, the X-Reality Pro technology recognizes patterns in images and compares it with patterns stored in a unique database to sharpen each pixel.

Though the refresh rate is 50 Hz, the TV uses Motion Flow XR, which inserts extra frames to deliver smooth and sharp images even during fast motion scenes.

As for color enhancement, the TV uses Live Colour Technology and Dynamic Contrast Technology. The Live Colour Technology is a backlight system which produces 30% wider colour in the red and green areas of the spectrum to produce more natural colours without smudging the images.

The combination of the above technologies with backlight dimming enhances overall contrast and colour range to provide deeper blacks and brighter whites and adds more depth, clarity and improving picture quality.

    Audio:

Next, the audio. As with most TVs in this segment, it comes with 20 watt sound output comprising two 10 watt channels.  The clear phase technology improves clarity. To prevent cancellation particular to lower frequency sound, open baffle speakers are used. The sound system also supports Dolby Digital format. It has an FM radio and also has various sound modes like Standard, Dynamic, Clear Voice and Custom. However, it doesn’t have any surround sound system to provide an immersive sound experience.

    Smart Features:

The TV runs on Linux based OS. It comes with pre-installed OTT platforms like Prime, Netflix, YouTube etc. It also supports screencasting and you can plug and play media by connecting your mobile phone.

Additionally, it also has Photo frame mode using which you can connect your digital camera or USB and have a sideshow of your favourite pictures.

The only drawback is the low storage capacity of just 4 GB.

As with all Sony Televisions, durability and protection are assured with the X-Protection Pro. As there are no ventilation holes, dust and moisture are kept away from the circuit. The TV is also protected against short circuits and lightning.

As for connectivity, the TV has 2 HDMI and 1 USB port. You can also plug and play music and video from various USB devices including your mobile phone and camera.

If durability, performance and quality is your priority, you won’t be disappointed with this option from Sony.

Coming to the display, the TV has a standard HD ready resolution of 1366 x 768 pixels and 60 Hz refresh rate. This new model comes with a VA panel, which offers better contrast. But doesn’t have that good colour reproduction especially when viewed from the sides. Also, VA panels have low response rate, making it not so suitable for gaming.

To enhance the display, Kevin utilizes A+ grade panel which is the best in class. Also, True Color technology helps display a wider colour range to display closer to real-life colours.

It is also one of the few TVs in the budget-friendly segment that offers a wide viewing angle of 178 degrees.

  10. Onida 80 cm (32 Inches) Fire TV Edition HD Ready Smart IPS LED TV 32HIF

       Find latest price ( Amazon)

Onida 32HIF is a budget-friendly smart TV that is worth considering in the 32-inch segment. Being a Fire TV, it has a fluid OS that is swift and intuitive.

    Display:

The TV comes with 32-inch display that is HD ready, which is pretty much the standard that you can expect from a 32 inch TV. The TV runs with Lucent Picture technology which is Onida’s video processing tech.

The TV doesn’t boast of HDR or any such technology. However, you will find that video quality of set-top box content, as well as content from streaming apps, come with fairly good clarity and colour vibrancy.

As it is an IPS panel, you will find that contrast and colour saturation is fairly decent from the sides. However, it wouldn’t make much difference, as the screen size is small and the TV would be suited only for a small room.

    Audio:

The audio output of the TV is 16 watts, which is lower than the standard of 20 W. It is equipped with Dolby Digital Plus and TruSurround technology for surround sound effect.

But you do feel that the sound is flat and there is not much bass. For an immersive sound experience and to make the maximum of the Dolby effects, it is suggested to connect to an external soundbar.

Further, the TV can act as a smart hub for your other smart devices. So, you can switch on your smart bulb, adjust your smart AC’s settings using your TV remote control.

A drawback, however, is that it is a bit slow to boot-up. Loading apps is also a bit slow. But once loaded, you don’t find any lags.
